Visitor rules Jazz & Muziek vzw

Article 1

The Event starts on Friday 12 August 2022 at 6 pm and ends on Monday 15 August at midnight (“the Event”).

The organisation of Jazz Middelheim (“the Organisation”) reserves the right to refuse admission to the Event if the Visitor is not in possession of a valid ticket and/or a valid admission bracelet.

Article 2

Everyone entering the event grounds declares to agree with these Visitor Regulations and to be bound by them. Access to the event site may be refused to those visitors who do not comply with the present regulations.

Each visitor is additionally bound by all directives issued by the organization in the context of safety and for the prevention of nuisance.

Article 3

Each person entering the event site must be in possession of a valid admission ticket. The Organisation reserves the right to remove from the event site any visitor not in possession of such a wristband.

Article 4

Each person entering the event site does so at his/her own risk. The Organisation is not liable for loss or damage suffered by the visitor and/or his/her property.

Article 5

The following objects are forbidden on the event ground: – liquids; – dangerous objects such as umbrellas, knives, scissors, razors, sticks, chains, saws, etc. This list is not exhaustive and includes all objects which are considered dangerous by the security services; – personal drinks or meals; – animals, with the exception of guide dogs; – drugs or other forbidden (stimulant) substances; – glass; – projectiles and explosives, whatever their shape or form; – inflammable products or materials; – pyrotechnic products (e.g. Bengal fire). Article 6

The Organisation reserves the right – carry out an electronic surveillance of the area allocated to them by means of cameras following and recording the movements of the visitors; – modify the programme; – remove illegally parked cars at the expense of the owner of the car.

The Organisation also reserves the right to interrupt or stop the Event if this is required for safety reasons; to keep visitors on the festival grounds until the end of the Event;

Article 7

The Organisation also reserves the right to deny access to or remove from the Event any person – suspected of being in possession of weapons, drugs or any other object which is a danger to security; – who is under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs; – whose behaviour suggests that he/she is involved in drug dealing or who has been found in the past in possession of weapons or drugs on the premises or in the vicinity of the premises; – who behaves in a way that disrupts public order and/or public safety, that leads to sexual intimidation, that provokes, incites to violence, hatred, racism, discrimination, etc… – who would refuse to be searched by the security services; – who enters zones on the festival ground to which he/she does not have access; – who blocks entrances and exits; – who urinates or defecates in public; – who climbs, damages or destroys constructions on the festival ground; – who throws or shoots objects, regardless of the nature of the objects; – who disguises himself/herself in such a way that he/she is no longer recognisable and also does not show himself/herself at the request of the Organisation. – to refuse persons with large handbags or backpacks;

Article 8

Visitors who are removed from the event grounds are obliged to hand over their admission tickets to the Organisation and in no case are they entitled to re-enter the event grounds.

Article 9

It is strictly forbidden for persons under 16 years of age to order alcohol and for persons under 18 years of age to order alcoholic beverages other than

alcoholic beverages other than beer and wine. In case of doubt, the bartenders shall have the right to request proof of identity from the visitor in order to verify that he/she complies with the age limit.

Article 10

All visitors are asked to handle their waste with care and to deposit it in the receptacles provided. The points where waste can be disposed of are visibly indicated at the Event, please make use of them.

Article 11

It is strictly forbidden to distribute flyers or any other promotional material to visitors on the event site, if permission has not been obtained from the Organisation. If you wish to promote, please contact the Organisation.

Any person handing out flyers or other promotional material without the permission of the Organisation will be removed from the event site. In addition, the Community Guard will immediately be notified to draw up a GAS fine.

Article 12 Camera

The event site is subject to camera surveillance in accordance with the law of 21/03/2007.

In accordance with the law of 8 December 1992 on “The protection of privacy in relation to the processing of personal data”, as amended by the law of 1 December 1998 transposing Directive 95/46/EC of 24 October 1995 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, the visitor is informed that the Organisation has the right to make visual and sound recordings and photographs throughout the duration of the Event. These recordings may be used for promotional purposes.

On entering the event site, all visitors give their tacit approval for the making of the aforementioned recordings and photographs, and that the Organisation may use this visual and sound material for promotional purposes and broadcasting.

The registration and storage of the sound recordings and the visual material by the police and/or the Organisation has, among other things, the purpose of maintaining and enforcing security on the event site. The purpose of processing this information is to detect and prevent crimes and violations of the present regulations and thus to make it easier to identify the perpetrators. Upon entering the premises, the visitor automatically relinquishes all rights to the use of the images and/or sound recordings made by him/her.

Article 13

In the event that a crime is observed, the police services will always be informed.
