This hip-hop duo eagerly flirts with jazz, funk and soul. Radiostation Studio Brussel elected their 2018 hit single ‘Elusive’ as ‘hot shot’. In the delightful single “Whasgood?” influences of Prince and OutKast are notable. In 2019  the duo, Willem Ardui and Jean Athoun, finally released the long-awaited debut album ‘Are We Still Dreamin?.  The LP is, as was expected, a groovy gem that was lauded by the press. 

With  last year’s gig at Gent Jazz ‘Back To Live’ Blackwave. lived up to their reputation as a great live-band, with a memorable concert that earned them a spot at Jazz Middelheim 2022.
