John Ghost (Ghent, BE), the sextet around composer/frontman Jo De Geest, is working hard on new material, but during this concert they will focus on their most recent record ‘Airships Are Organisms’ (Sdban Ultra).
Airships Are Organisms’ unfolds like a psychedelic, nostalgic trip, and the record also tells a worldly tale involving a Norwegian producer (Jörgen Træen, known for his collaborations with Jaga Jazzist), a Syrian artist (Mohammad Zaza) and an Arab princess.

The music of John Ghost is ingenious and accessible, and is often described as a symbiosis between the sounds of Steve Reich, Nils Frahm and Jaga Jazzist.
